It is an overall view on how to start a podcast with some useful tips indeed. Not included are real life recordings being done or edited in in depth. Also I miss the example of uploading a episode to a host. So bottom line, it is worth what you pay but still misses some vital lessons in my opinion.

Excellent content presented in a highly sophisticated and professional manner. However, my beef so far is frustration at not being able to follow through on the tips and hacks because I lack the knowledge and technical expertise. For example, the presenter recommends creating "smart links." Yes I am aware of smart links, but how do you create smart links? Fortunately I know a bit more about wix, the website creator. But I hadn't had foreknowledge of wix, I would be similarly frustrated. I guess this course is really the fundamentals for beginners. On the other hand, for advanced techie and media types, it is probably a sort of dream come through though I suspect that is not the majority who are taking this course.

Sam has given some good tips and ideas for my own podcast, regarding structure and monetization. However, the titel of the course misleads a bit. It says 'Launch, Market And Monetize A Podcast', but when you go through Sam here course it says 'Starting A Podcast On A Budget'. These things are not the same. I also found that this course is really North America based. As a user in Europe and producing a podcast in a different language, a great part of this course becomes irrelevant.

Really good course with loads of insight. The content and strategies were fab. 5 stars for that. I think it could be updated. Some of the links don't work, the subtitles aren't 100% accurate and probably most importantly some things talked about either don't exist any more or the features have changed within that certain platform.

I would consider this presentation an overview of podcasting, not necessarily a course. It does provide a direction and many helpful tips. I would say if this program were very inexpensive it would definitely be worth picking up. I don’t feel the participant will possess the skills needed to podcast after the end, but they would have a direction to go. To be an effective course, a lot more detail and demonstration would be needed. Nevertheless if the course could be obtained for five or ten dollars it would save a lot of research time about what it takes to start a podcast.

I like it a lot so far. She's covering things that I wouldn't have considered (formats, considering your 'avatar'). I like her personality. She's relatable. I also like that it's not perfect. Not every blip is removed. It's appealing to me that she is striving for this freedom rather than that she's all 'This is how I made my millions.' And yet, she has some experience in actually doing it.
