Great course. It met my expectations.
I am looking forward to applying everything I have learned to my blog. I have been blogging for 4 years, and there is so much for me to learn! I love the outline it allows for great notes and the added content calendar.
The course was good, I found the content helpful as a new freelancer. The first question in the second test listed the correct answer as the incorrect answer, and then it stated the correct answer which is what I picked.
Maddie provided clear and practical tips that can be implemented immediately! I would certainly recommend the course to anyone seeking to improve their writing skills. Thank you for the well thought out content and engaging delivery. 😊

This is great if you are new to blogging, with many links and other resources you can use once the course has finished
Maddie Cohen knows well how to articulate and is an expert in blogging but for SEO purposes blogging is overrated. I do appreciate that she mentions the alt-tag, whose content is crucial for boosting keywords connected to a website's images. Regarding the content advice she gives here in this very good tutorial, I need some time to think about the new information and process everything for a valuable conclusion.
Excellent course, even for those who have been putting pen to paper for a little while already. Maddie knows her stuff and does a fantastic job with the delivery.

This course gave good information on the basics of why blogging is useful and how it can help your business but it was extremely lacking in the SEO portion with some sections lasting a mere 22 seconds. This is information you can find for free on YouTube.

I'm not sure if I didn't learn much because of taking other copywriting courses, but I feel like the content was missing more detail and further examples. Maddie seems to have a great insight on blogging but it seems as though she forgot that the viewers don't: she sped through each topic and I had to keep pausing and reviewing videos because she spoke too quickly.
A solid foundation for folks looking to get into blog post writing. I feel confident that I can open a gig on Fiverr using the knowledge that I gained from this course. The course was organized, engaging, compelling, and succinct. Maddie provided a wealth of tools and tips for new bloggers. I specifically valued the chapters on how to write for a target audience, the blog writing process, and the introduction to SEO concepts. I would have appreciated a bit more guidance on blog post outlining and possibly a template, but I'm sure further research on my own will supply this. I also left the course with confusion about "meta descriptions" in terms of SEO, but I recognize that this wasn't an SEO course and Maddie was simply providing the basics. All in all, the course was informative and well done. It is clear that Maddie knows her stuff and I am glad I took it!

This is a wonderful course for newcomers to the blogging world and intermediates. It shares a lot of important parts that people skip over unknowingly. The only part I would change is the last chapter. It seemed to be the same information that was already said, just in different wording. But still a worthwhile course.

A good course, but definitely one for beginners. Didn't go in-depth into any topic, and there was an error in the second quiz. However, if you're just starting out blogging and have no experience, this course is a fantastic introduction, and a good refresher if you haven't blogged in a while.

This course was super insightful and engaging. I can't wait to put what I learned into action!
The content of the course is straight to the point which is fine. However, I expected a bit more depth in the readability section and the lesson on writing headlines and ledes. I kept hearing the word "compelling" being used but the course doesn't address what makes something compelling.
Also, the instructor is robotic and clearly reading from a teleprompter. There's barely any tonal change and some of the more lighthearted aspects of their script don't even land.
This course was very informative and provided me with key insight concerning how I can professionally write and manage a blog. Thank you Maddie!

The course was well organized and presented, but the info is fundamental and introductory. I think the title is misleading. The course should be marketed for beginners only.

This course had useful content, but the delivery wasn't as good. The instructor wasn't great at speaking and it made it frustrating to listen to the entire course. Otherwise, the information and tips were helpful.

I'm looking for new sources of income and while I feel I'm a great writer, I've not written much for others and their needs. This course gave me a solid foundation of understanding what this world looks like, how to approach writing, best practices and many great tools to help a writer with things like copyediting and proofreading. The instructor is very knowledgeable, and her presentation is easy to follow. I really liked the software/tools recommendations that she gave, and I know it all can help me to create better blogs. This course is worthwhile, for sure.

10/10. This course was exceptional. I loved the different strategies, tools mentioned, and examples provided. This is a great course.
Great content less enthusiasm for the subject.
I think the course was ok, but I was a little disappointed. It definitely covers all the basics and gives a few examples, but I thought it would be more in-depth. This could be my fault for having different expectations, however.
You can tell the creator definitely put a lot of time and effort in and you can also tell she is an expert. She seems a touch camera shy, but the content itself was very well explained.
Overall, I would say that if you are absolutely new to writing and need basic instructions or if you are a business that wants to start an accompanying blog, this is a good resource. But if you are already familiar with writing or blogging, it might not be so helpful.
Excellent Excellent Course. The content was amazing, especially for a beginner like me. The author was very clear, precise and explained the concepts perfectly well. She knew what she was talking about and guided me step by step to understanding how to write engaging blogs. Wish there were one or two videos where she actually shows over the shoulder blog that she could write as a video in the course, that would be very helpful. None-the-less the course was engaging and excellent. I would highly recommend it

It's a great course that briefly touched on some of the most critical elements we can look into when writing articles or blog posts.
the content is very stark. I have to go to outside (FREE) sources to understand more precisely what's being taught here. The beginning was okay, but the last half is not good at all. I'm having problems finishing the course because of the diminishing content value.

Great beginner's course. Takes a thorough, yet digestible approach to "blogging: 101," making it very easy to follow and walk away with key information, imperative to having a successful blog.
Los primeros capítulos fueron agotadores, el solo ver a la presentadora por lapsos largos de tiempo y que sus ejemplos solo permanecieran en la pantalla por un corto lapso de tiempo que no sobrepasaba 2 segundos era cansado. Abandoné el curso varias veces porque su manera de presentar era tediosa.
Con el paso de los capítulos, y una vez que me acostumbré a sus explicaciones largas, de pronto aparece con capítulos con una duración de menos de 1 minuto con una explicación muy lamentable y vaga que no valía la pena tener separada de otro capítulo.
La edición de video era muy mala, a veces los títulos o subtítulos no aparecían en un capítulo y en otros sí. La corta duración de los ángulos en varias tomas era muy cansada, duraban casi lo mismo que parpadear y le provocaban a uno hacerlo porque el cerebro no procesaba tranquilamente lo que veía.
La explicación de la presentadora es pesada y carece de dinamismo. Habla un capítulo entero acerca de hacer un outline y para cierto punto entendí que ella había tomado un curso previo a hacer el suyo, mismo que yo tomé antes de este, y pude apreciar que había tomado tratado de copiar lo que ella aprendió en ese y tratar de aplicarlo en la escritura de Blogs, lo cual salió mal desde mi perspectiva.
Sugeriría una reestructuración completa del curso y que tuviera más dinamismo y ejemplos, así como si pudiera yo sentir que ella en realidad domina su tema y no hay alguien al frente con tarjetas indicándole que decir.
For a course that is so concise, Maddie sure covers a lot! This course had been particularly helpful in helping me decide what I am able to do myself, and what I will need to look to other experts to assist with on my blog. Sincere appreciation, Maddie.

It was okay. You can tell she is a very successful writer, but she wasn't the best teacher. She over explained simple things and under explained the things I would have loved to learn more about, like SEO, meta descriptions, and alt text. I've never heard of meta descriptions or alt text, and she spoke in a way that indicated we should already know this. It just needed a little bit more explaining, but overall, I did learn something from this course so in the end I am happy I took it.
Maddie shared some key insights for creating well-structured and engaging articles and blog posts. It was very enlightening to learn her writing process and the tools that can help any writer/blogger become masterful when creating new pieces of relevant and engaging content. Thanks again!

The BPW course is a great course with all the vital areas blueprinted for you to just start. I knew a lot coming in and appreciate the refresher but was given in-depth details to consider. Enjoyed this very much on a snowy, cold night up in the north somewhere.

Great Knowledge, There is a mistake in the chapter 2 quiz. I selected that customers are more important, but the answer said that prospects are more important (even though in the summary of the answer it says customers). Looks like the answers are flip-flopped perhaps? In general the entire course is AMAZING! As a seller on Fiverr, I've learned how to truly create SEO optimized content, and offer more services because of this course. Thank you Maddie and Fiverr team!
